Storing and recalling stations
You can easily storeup to six stations for each
band as presets.
! Sixstations for eachband can be stored in
memory.
1 Display the preset channellist screen.
Refer to HDRadiotuner operations on the pre-
vious page.
The preset channellist appears in the display.
2 Touch and holddown one of the preset
tuning keys tostore the selected frequency
to the memory.
The selected radiostation frequency has been
stored in thememory.
3 Touch the appropriate preset tuningkey
to select thedesired station.
Storing the strongest stations
BSM (best stationsmemory) automatically
stores the six strongeststations in the orderof
their signal strength.
Storing broadcast frequencieswith BSM may re-
place broadcast frequenciesyou have saved
using the presettuning keys.
1 Display the preset channellist screen.

2 Touch BSM toturn BSM on.
The six strongestbroadcast frequencies will be
stored under presettuning keys in order of their
signal strength.

Tuning in to strong signals
Local seek tuning allowsyou to tune into only
those radio stationswith sufficiently strong sig-
nals for good reception.

The more there are onthe screen, the fewer
the stations thatcan be selected. Only stations
with the strongestsignals in your local areacan
be selected.

1 Tune in to thebroadcast station.
2 Store the tag informationto this unit.

You can store theinformation if the Tag indica-
tor is displayedwhile the desired song isbeing
broadcast.

Storing the tagged information
to your iPod
1 Connect your iPod.
When your iPod is connectedto this unit, your
iPodstarts storing the tagged informationauto-
matically.

your iPod.
Switching the seek mode
There are twoseek tuning settings, one isHD
(Digital broadcasting stationsseek) and the
other is ALL(normal seek).

Switching the reception mode
If the reception fora digital broadcast becomes
poor, this unitautomatically switches to theana-
log broadcast of thesame frequency. If this
function is set toD/A AUTO, thetuner switches
between digital broadcastand analog broadcast
automatically. If this function is setto ANALOG,
the tuner will only receiveanalog broadcasts.
